Spring/Summer Consignment Sale
February 25th and 26th


Thank you for consigning with the Bethlehem Baptist Church clothing sale. Please read these guidelines carefully – they contain useful information about how to prepare your items for sale. Volunteers will be screening your items and any unsuitable items or incorrectly tagged items will not be accepted.

DROP OFF: We will sell girls and boys items along with any maternity wear. We accept top quality clothing (in sizes from infant to 16), Children’s shoes, accessories, baby equipment, large indoor or outdoor play equipment, bedding, toys (no stuffed animals), books, videos, DVD, and games (board games, computer/video games – non-violent only!). We will not be accepting any formula or expired car seats. Please make sure that the warning details and manufacturers date are visible by our screeners when consigning car seats.

PREVIEW NIGHT: To show our appreciation to our sellers, we will host a Preview Night for those sellers who consign 20 or more items. You will be given a preview ticket to be admitted to Preview Night when you drop-off your items for sale.

PAYMENT INFORMATION: Consignors receive 70% of the total from items sold. Checks will be available for pickup on March 5th, 2011 in the church office (times: 8:00am – 10:00am). After that date, checks will be mailed to those who provided a self-addressed, stamped envelope at check-in. All other checks should be picked up in the church office. Proceeds from the sale will go to support Bethlehem Baptist Church Women’s Ministry which helps in various ways throughout the church itself and the surrounding community.

PICK-UP: Items can be picked up Saturday the 26th from 1:30pm to 3:00pm and not before then. Items not picked up by 3:00 will be donated to local charities. Consignors are responsible for collecting off of the racks any of their unsold items at the end of the sale. Any unclaimed items remaining on the racks after the end of pick-up are considered donations to the church.

Drop off items:
    Tuesday Feb 22nd starting at 8:00am – 11:30am and then again from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
    Wednesday Feb. 23rd starting at 8:00am- 11:30am.
    Thursday Feb. 24th starting at 8:00am – 11:30am.
Please allow 30-45 minutes to check-in and hang your items at drop-off. No children during drop-off if at all possible, please.

Preview Night (sellers only, bring a bag/basket for purchases):
    Thursday Feb.24th Doors will open at 6:00pm and close at 9:00pm

Sale Days ( bring your own laundry basket or bag – we will not be bagging purchases):
    Friday Feb. 25th: 9:00am – 6:00pm
    Saturday Feb. 26th 8:00am – NOON (HALF PRICE DAY)

Pick up Unsold items:
    Saturday Feb.26th: 1:30pm- 3:00pm

****All sales are FINAL. The only exception is in the case of large expensive items (furniture, large toys, equipment) that are found defective after purchase. The sale chairperson reserves the right to contact the seller to correct the problem. PLEASE make sure all your items are complete and in working order.
